Privacy policy

Effective 14 October 2026. This is QuickShop's standard privacy policy for stores on the platform, completed with EMCOHE Global Services Limited's details. EMCOHE Global Services Limited has not added a notice of its own.

This policy explains how your information is handled when you shop at EMCOHE Global Services Limited.

Who is responsible

  • EMCOHE Global Services Limited sells to you and decides how your order is handled. It is responsible for your order information.
  • QuickShop provides the technology this store runs on - the website, checkout, order system and order emails. QuickShop handles your information on the store's behalf, and to keep the platform secure and working.

What is collected

  • When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address (or that you chose pickup), the items, prices, delivery fee and any discount code.
  • If you start checkout but don't finish: the name and email you typed, so the store can remind you about your basket.
  • If you create an account with this store: your name, email address and any baskets you save.
  • If you leave a review: the name you give and what you write; published reviews are shown on the store.
  • If you message the store: what you send. WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms. If you use the store's chat assistant, your messages are processed by an AI provider (Anthropic) to write the replies.
  • Technical information: the pages you request, your browser and device type and your IP address appear in server logs, used to keep the site secure and working.

Payments

You pay through Bank transfer. Card and bank payments go to the store through its own payment provider account; your full card details are entered with that provider and are never seen or stored by EMCOHE Global Services Limited or QuickShop. Bank-transfer and pay-on-delivery orders only record that payment is expected and when it arrives.

Cookies and storage on your device

This store uses only cookies and storage it needs to work - no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking:

  • Basket, checkout and discount code - so your basket survives page loads.
  • Account session - only if you sign in to an account with this store.
  • Preferences - language, currency, and light or dark appearance.
  • Saved items and recently viewed products - kept in your browser's own storage; they never leave your device.
  • Rewards visitor ID - a random ID (not your name or contact) that remembers loyalty rewards on stores that offer them. It lasts up to a year and is shared by stores on quickshop.store.

Analytics

QuickShop does not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this store. QuickShop counts how many visits the store gets each day - one number per day, with nothing about who visited - and the store sees its sales and orders in its QuickShop dashboard, built from the orders themselves.

What other shoppers can see

  • On product pages the store may show recent purchases as a first name, a city and the item (for example "Ada in Lekki bought a Baby Gown"). Your surname, contact details and address are never shown.
  • If you publish a review, the name you give and your review are shown on the store.

How your information is used

  • To take, confirm, prepare and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
  • To send your receipt and order updates by email.
  • To remind you about an unfinished checkout.
  • To handle returns, refunds, complaints and disputes.
  • To prevent fraud and misuse, and to meet legal and tax obligations.

Your information is never sold.

Who it is shared with

  • EMCOHE Global Services Limited, the seller.
  • The payment provider that takes your payment.
  • Resend, which sends order emails.
  • QuickShop's hosting and database providers, which store and serve the platform.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) and Anthropic, only when you choose to message the store through them.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

Where it is processed

QuickShop's servers and some of the providers above are located outside Nigeria (for example in the United States and Europe). Your information always travels over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

How long it is kept

  • Orders are kept for as long as the store needs them for the order itself, accounting, tax and disputes, and for as long as the law requires.
  • Unfinished-checkout details are used for reminders and removed when you ask.
  • Accounts are kept until you ask for yours to be closed.
  • Server logs are kept for a short period for security.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information held about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop receiving messages. Contact EMCOHE Global Services Limited using the details below. If the store does not respond, contact QuickShop at support@quickshop.store. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
